Lulus
Local Food is an on-line co-op program
designed to connect family owned and operated farms with local customers in
search of fresh food year round. Our Winter Season farm to family Co-op opened
in Richmond, Virginia in November of 2008 offering a full line of locally
produced food to our founding family members.
In May 2009 we opened the Summer
Season with a new website that allowed all orders to be placed on-line. The
website allowed the co-op to expand to five pick up locations strategically
located throughout the Richmond Metropolitan area.
Today we are pleased to be offering
a second Winter Season, licensing the program to Fall Line Farms covering the
Metropolitan Richmond area and The Center for Rural Culture's Local Roots Food
Co-Op covering Goochland County to offer a full range of the very best local
food products to multiple locations.
